CONTEMPORARY GLOBAL FASCIST TENDENCY ----

Dear Khalid,

I thank you for your sincere and urgent letter, which I read with
great concern and with a full understanding of each and every aspect of it.
We find ourselves, indeed, in "show-time" - meaning, that now has come>
the moment where people show their real faces and put down their liberal,
democratic masks, just as the very system does, which they defend so
fervently. ----

It is not new to us, that in times of economic crisis the capitalist
system moves towards open authoritarianism and fascism, as its crisis
agenda calls for great "sacrifices" of the workers, on whose
shoulders the system stands and who have to be laid off massively, having to
bear the full consequences of the perverse overproduction crises without
even understanding what is going on. Also, alternative capital investment
areas have to be found and these are, classically, the military and
defence sector. Thus, no better thing that could accompany an
overproduction crisis than war - the fatal economic-military
combination that was underlying the past world wars. A war brings double benefit
to a "national economy" in crisis: it opens a much needed field for
capital investment and boosts the economic and financial sectors related to
it, while at the same time cutting expenses on social welfare and
worker´s issues to a ridiculous minimum and providing, after all, the
"pretext" as well as the "ultima ratio" for the desperately needed reduction
and destruction of both - living labour force and capital, in order to
"rejuvenate" itself, put in one of the terms you used. (Note, that in
today´s case of the "war against terrorism", not only the entire
defence sector - conventional as well as space- and surveillance technology
related military and secret service sector - but also the big,
multinational pharmaceutical corporations will experience a boost and
boom in the wake of what I call the impending, "deliberately induced
bio-warfare".) ----

Regarding the current, world wide "war against terrorism" scenario,
one thing however, is slightly different from the "classical" war
scenario. The concentration and monopolization of capital on a world wide scale
is of unprecedented economic-financial magnitude, manifesting and
expressing itself correspondingly in the ever tightening
international political and also judicial structure. In other words, according to
the global concentration and monopolization of capital, the former Nation
States have been gradually leaving the terrain to the one, big
superstructure - the International State with its corresponding
political institutions and legal frameworks that watch over the
global labour process and guarantee its proper functioning. Thus, it is
almost impossible these days to speak of an "external enemy" in absolute
terms, that is, to invoke hostilities between Nation States as such. Along
with capital and labour, WAR has truly been globalized, which means it is
being waged against an "internal enemy" the location of which is
assumed to be each and everywhere on the planet. (This has been, among other
manifestations of unity, reflected in the unanimous standing together
of the jeopardized Arabic States, whose ruling political classes jointly
condemned the terrorist attack against the United States, jointly
declared themselves part of the "civilized world", and jointly
refrained from taking a counter-stand on the war in Afghanistan and on the
general implications of the "war against terrorism", concerning the open
violation of international right by the United States and its NATO
allies by arbitrarily waging war on any depicted country in that
region on behalf of "anti-terrorism measures".) -----

Being the "new enemy" a global, an internal one - of course carefully
built up and fostered during the last decade or even longer -, and
being the "new enemy" an enemy of the International State, of the
globalized "Western Civilization and Culture" (newspeak for global capitalism),
the "rejuvenating war" of the global economy has to be tactically
directed towards "specific targets" with a surgeon´s precision, in order to
tackle the REAL PROBLEM of the global world order agenda, that stands
behind all the religious-archaic masquerade and farce: to get rid of
the billions of physical labourers that are of no use whatsoever for the
system anymore. -----

For this "noble purpose", a "worldwide consensus" has to be achieved,
including of those who are going to be eliminated. The combination of
a generalized fear and of the personalization of an essentially
"impersonal", systemic threat, brings about the much needed, open
racism and fascism, that altogether form the "classic fascist recipe" of the
former, individual Nation State, recipe which we see being
globalized, that is, successfully implemented on a world wide scale.
A publicly convincing cause - terrorism - has carefully been built up
and fostered in order to implement a global, fascist control-,
surveillance- and oppression apparatus and an effective mid-term
elimination strategy of the world wide physical labour force, as the
labour process, with intellectual labour now prevailing, stands on
the threshold of an entirely different production (and destruction)
stage. (I won´t elaborate further on this point, as it would take me ages
and pages to do so. A lot of questions related to this "era of
intellectual labour" still need clarification in my mind; primordially the
question of what actually happens to profit production in the face of
intellectual labour in combination with supermonopolism.) -----

The amazing thing, when it comes down to our personal "day-to-day
life experiences" in these days of global crisis, is, that after the
infamous, not-so-long-ago German Nazi Catastrophe, we find the very
same fascist-racist Holocaust structure functioning in 99,8% of our
surrounding friends´, families´, students´, colleagues´, co-workers´
and neighbours´ empty "skull chambers", that are mistakenly called
"brains". Speaking for myself, the truly amazing thing about this is, that this
comes as a complete confirmation of what we have thought, written and
published on the internet in the past couple of years in terms of our
very own Science and Philosophy, which never has been a "Robinson
Crusoe Island" - type of philosophy, but an active-contactive
"trans-structive" Science and Philosophy, that has been in touch with each and every
aspect of our surrounding, complex and multifacetical reality, which
includes the affirmation and "yes-men" of the system as much as its
negation and "no-men", as much as the neither affirmation-nor-negation,
the "trans-ourselves". ----

To "transcend" in the sense of emancipation with the help of our own
Science and Philosophy is our endeavour, and the confrontation with
each and every affirmative and negative moment of the system is part and
parcel of this endeavour. We cannot afford creating our own "dustbin
of history" if we want to act, think and excel trans-historically. Our
family, neighbours, colleagues, friends, crew members, etc. reflect,
each on their own level and degree, the Janus-faced labour-system with its
affirmation and negation, where WE have no "home" anyway. We know the
content, range and limit of action and thought of those who, for some
reason or the other, travel with us for a while, and we don´t expect
them to go beyond their limits, their possibilities. Neither have we
recruited them, nor do we expel them from our transhistoric train of
act and thought. If they are co-orbiters, they will keep travelling with
us, if they are not, they´ll vanish. Along the way, there is always
something we can learn with them, from them and about them in, for
and by our transhistoric analysis. -----

This is, roughly sketched, the background-answer to your "emergency
mail", Khalid. I know and understand exactly, what your problem is,
and we have been and are being surrounded by the very same "brand" of
people - not only now, in "show-times", in times of terror and crisis. We
know, how treacherous the world wide "average citizen" can turn out to be,
the very moment the system activates his/her "dormant" racist-fascist
believe-and-behaviour patterns. The 0,2% of the remaining thinking
population on the planet (across history) has had no choice but to
face this reality anyway. ----
