I am currently 18 years old and on active duty for the United States Navy. I am new to the military and serve as an Information System Technician. Some of the things I like to do are play computer games, web designing, hanging out with friends, and traveling. It looks like I'm going to be spending my time onboard the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) for the rest of my four year contract starting January 31, 2002. I'm hoping that from the rumors I've heard, they really are hurting for ADP IT's.
My future aspirations are to someday find a nice decent-paying job that is computer-related with a little bit of action and have a place of my own someday. I don't want to marry too soon so that I can enjoy life for a while without being tied down, yet. If I cannot yet find a decent paying job after my first contract of 4 years in the military, I will re-enlist for another 4 years just for the re-enlistment bonus of $30k. I want to attend college to learn computer networking or computer science and a web design course along with it.
