Back
This morning as I ate my usual grits and biscuits my Friend and I got into a little bit of an argument.  It began over the subject of divorce and went on into the subject of Interpretation of the bible.  I know another one of those touchy subjects especially for Christians.  For me personally I dont believe in much interpretation of the bible.  Its just the way I was brought up.  I believe that there is something plain out wrong with not excepting Gods decrees as made in the bible.  Almost like were saying hey we love you and all but we just cant obey ALL of your commandments.
But as I said that is my belief.  Doesnt mean Im going to run out and force it on people.  Thats probably one of the biggest problems Christians have today.  They run out and almost attack those that dont believe the same way they do.  Ive noticed it myself as of late.  Those I didnt agree with about something (even though I didnt think it was all that major) dont treat me the same now that they know I believe the way I believe.  Hey thats just the way I do it.  To me its so freakin stupid that Christians dont get the point that its not important how you worship just that you are doing it.   God didnt say you HAVE to do it this way or that, he just ASKED that you do it.
It all comes down to the whole thing about Christians attacking instead of tolerating.  If you dont believe me on that one just get on a Christian chat.  The second someone that isnt a Christian gets on, the attacks start.  Granted the majority of the time the non-Christian starts it but you dont have to bite.  You will not bring people to know Christs love by attacking their beliefs.  You also wont help new Christians by attacking the fragile beliefs they hold: Especially if the person that brought them to Christ encouraged those beliefs.  So I think its time we as Christians started practicing that which God commanded, A little Tolerance and understanding that we are not all the same.  We arent even on the same page the majority of the time, and thats ok.  Of course that is just my own warped belief but I could be wrong.
