Seems to me there is something missing from our country these days. You know that all important concept known as Tolerance. I mean where has it gone? How does anyone expect to get along and work together if they dont have Tolerance for those around us. I personally dont see how we have lasted this long with as little Tolerance as we have.
What is more sickening is the fact that there are massive christian organizations that have no Tolerance as well. This is actually past the point of sickening to something that words can not describe. Its usually not the usual stuff that these organizations and churchs are intolerant off. I mean you would expect it be things like Maralyn Manson and stuff like that. Which of course many churches have no tolerance for him but its more a lack of Tolerance of other Denomonations. Just because one church baptises by emersion while another sprinkles or one thinks that you should stand when the lords word is read and others think you should kneel they show intolerance even hatred.
Tis a very ugly thing to see. I mean the places where we should expect to see the most Tolerance we are seeing the least. I do not believe this is the way God intended. So many churches are harking on the smallest things. Just so they can have a seperation or something to talk about i guess. The seperation of the denomations is so minor in its Theology but there are soo many who foolishly blow them out of proportion. So i ask you what about Tolerance.
I say that as Christians we should embrace everyone and everything and try to do Gods work. I also believe the best way to accomplish that is to work together. Baptists and Presbytereans, Lutherans and Methodists, Catholics and Eastern Orthodox. They all can work together to accomplish so much but alas they stay seperated by there intolerance of small actions and beliefs.
