Fried Rice
Also Known as Flied Lice
Ingredients:
1 cup rice
2 cloves of garlic
2 table spoons peanut oil
soy sauce
early june peas
1 Egg
mushrooms
scallion
carrots
butter
Ok begin by cooking your rice.
while you are doing this you will need to chop up your vegies.  I like to use mushrooms scallions and on occassion carrots but you can use just about anything.  After you have everything chopped and cleaned and the rice is done get out your frying pan (woks work better but hey sometimes ya gotta deal)
place about 2 table spoons of butter into the frying pan and let it begin to melt.  This will do two things one lube the pan so stuff doesnt stick and two it will help flavor your vegies.  chop one clove of garlic and throw it in and let it begin to sizzle (make sure to have your stove on medium) then throw in your vegies and cover for 3 minutes
wait until vegies are nice and limp but not totally cooked.  Remove everything from the pan and rinse the pan.  Then reheat pan place peanut oil into the pan throw in the second clove of garlic then your vegies followed by the rice.  Stir quickly as rice can sometimes burn fast.  Add soy sauce to taste.  i like about 5 table spoons but some people add up to a cup.  Hint if its going to black and its not burning you've added to much.  Make sure to add your scrambled egg too btw.  After the soy sauce is added add salt and pepper to taste and your done.
