REVIEW
I've never been a big fan of the Sega Genesis, to be quite honest. However, a few brilliant titles kept the system from receiving my complete disdain. Jurassic Park is one of these titles. This is the sort of game that makes you sit up and take notice of what a system is capable of producing. Having played the SNES version of Jurassic Park, I figured the Genesis version would be pretty much the same (overhead view w/ some 3D shooting) only with murkier graphics. Boy, was I wrong.
Graphics - Being a Genesis title the graphics are admittedly quite dull and murky. But, in this case that's what makes them so good. Jurassic Park should not be portrayed as bright and shiny, and in this game it certainly isn't. From the thick, dank jungles to the filthy sewers, to the grimy power plant the graphics are perfect in every situation. Especially nice is the blood on the elevator in (oops, spoiler I won't go any further)

Sound - Sweet. Roaring Dinosaurs, fitting music, realistic grunts. All very, very sweet.

Game play - Really, really sweet. You choose between the guy in the blue shirt (yeah, you try and remember his name) or the Raptor. You would expect playing the Raptor to be a lot more fun than Mr. Blue but surprisingly they're both very satisfying in their own rights. As the guy, your job is to control as many of the island's dinosaurs as you can, eventually stopping the Raptors from reaching the mainland. You are equipped with a huge arsenal of weapons at your disposal to deal with the dinosaurs in your way. As the Raptor, your goal is to reach the mainland. On the way, you eat little dinos as well as park workers. Incredibly fun.

Conclusion - Own a Genesis? Don't own Jurassic Park? Go to the store and get it, it's that simple
