Stafford is the county town of Staffordshire. Its population is around 60,000 inhabitants. Stafford was once a centre of major shoe and leather manufacture. It finds itself in the heart of an ancient rural borough surrounded by pretty villages and beautiful countryside. Stafford also has excellent communication links. London is reachable by train in 90 minutes.
On the picture it`s possible to see the Staffordshire University as a red object in the eastern part of the map. The red square almost in the middle is the local prison. My accommodation was nearby. Therefore, there was no problem to get to the city centre which is on the map situated just under the prison.
