Malaga is one of the cities in Andalucia, Spain. It has its own airport. Therefore, there are no problems to get there in a short time. To travel from Malaga to any place inside Spain it is possible to use bus or train.
The only means of transport in Malaga itself is bus. However, it is just now being planned to build underground.
Malaga lies at the Mediterranean sea. The usual temperature in this place is between 35 and 40 degrees of Celsius. To have a place where You can cool Your body down is big advantage. Nevertheless, the sea itself is quite dirty as well as the beach. In order to have bigger pleasure from swimming and sun bathing it is better to visit near town Torre-Molinos.
From internationally known supermarkets, You can find there the German LIDL or the French Carrefour near which my accommodation was situated.
This city does not have so many historical buildings and monuments as Sevilla or Cordoba. The most interesting is the castle Gibraltafaro and its small copy Alcazaba.
Generally almost every Spanish city has the small castle Alcazaba. These fortresses come from the time of Christian and Arabic fight over the Spain.
When the culture is concerned, the two typical Spanish attractions are bull fights and Flamenco shows.
Have You known that the painter Pablo Picasso or the actor Antonio Banderas were born in Malaga?
