The Wilson sisters branch out a bit from the bombastic power balladry of Heart's last few records in this, their current side project. Lovemongers began as a tribute band and has evolved into an acceptable avenue for the duo to stretch out and experiment a bit, but also it affords them an opportunity to return to the Folk-Rock leanings of their earliest recordings. The material that the Lovemongers present is different from Heart's material in that it's a little more eclectic and precise in a manner that still pleases fans just as well as any of Heart's other efforts. |
