Sun

My Sun awakes, here she comes
To greet my mindless orisons;
My dreams of old, my thoughts anew-
An everlasting peaceful hue
Of cherry trees and birdsong too.

A stone she brings to grind my fears
And banish any sob she hears.
And as the shade of dreams does clear,
The essence of my hope appears
And runs to me, my heart in tears.

We dance and sing and smile, blessed
By Sun of laughter's golden nest
Surrounding us, we shine, possessed.

And I alone do wander home
Unto my faithful, calm unrest.
