� Role / Responsibility

     � As part of this job, the PM is responsible for the topline and bottomline targets of a brand or set of        brands
     � Responsibility also includes Marketing Strategy and Marketing Mix decisions. This is achieved                through implementation and/or coordination of Strategy and Mix decisions including Advertising,             Media Planning and implementation, Promotions (Trade and Consumer) and Market Research

    � Sales Analysis & Projection: Involvement with sales managers and supply chain network for brand        volume projections and fulfilment
   � Marketing Mix needs to be constantly updated and modified in line with changing consumer needs          and competitive scenario. This includes changes in product formulation, packaging and pricing/profit       related decisions.
   � New Product launches require, besides consumer research, coordination with various internal               departments (costing, management accounting, packaging, R&D, supply chain, procurement, etc.),          Analysis of consumer and market level data
   � Tools used for both existing and new products are ORG Retail Audit data, IRS consumer data,               continuous brand tracking, Media Exposure Indices and customised consumer panels

� Brands/Products: Have worked on Lal Dant Manjan (toothpowder/toothpaste), Dabur Amla, Amla Lite and Dabur Special (Hair Oils) and Himsagar (Ayurvedic Cooling Oil)
� Had primary responsibility for the launch of Himsagar Cooling Oil (all NPD stages)

  � Was part of the Delhi, and subsequently Rajasthan Healthcare Products Division sales team.                   Responsibilities were similar to earlier stint albeit at branch level (as ASM). Additional responsibilities        included management of S&M expenses, training of fieldforce and brand launches.
