Mother: Simple, religious and cultured, she was in the teaching profession, but now has chosen to be a homemaker.
Sister (elder) : B.Sc(Botany), M.Ed, M.Phil. Currently pursuing her PhD and also teaching in Delhi. Happily married to a Doctor, has two kids
Family : Gotra � Parashar. Sanadhya Brahmins from West U.P., now settled in Delhi and satellite towns. All relatives are highly placed in govt. or pvt. organisations in India & abroad.
