- V6's Okada Junichi and Miyake Ken will be the guests on the first episode of the sequal to "Tengoku Ni Ichiban Chikai Otoko" (Heaven Cannot Wait), starring Matsuoka Masahiro of Tokio. Can't wait!
3/19/01- It has been announced that Tsuyoshi will make his debut as an illustrator. Tsuyoshi always enjoyed drawing and writing so this will be another good oppertunity for him to improve his skills.
- Tsuyoshi will publish a solo essay book in April. The title is Kimi To Arukeba or If I Walk With You. The price is 680 yen (around $6).
- Utada Hikaru is an Okada Junichi fan too! She announced this on the music/talk program Utaban. The two met and shook hands since Junichi was in the studio also. The hosts asked Junichi if he liked girls that spoke English and Junichi answered, "Sounds good to me!", Hikaru also added, "I have money!" Although Junichi seemed a little uncomfortable, he must have been flattered!
1/9/01-Okada Junichi and Arashi's Ohno Satoshi had their seijinshiki (celebration of turning 20) accompanied with Tokio's leader, Jyoshima Shigeru. Junichi happily commented, "After turning 20, I thought, 'this is just the begining'. Yup! I can't wait to see what happens!". Jyoshima took them to eat after the event too....how sweet!
News prior to 2001
-Doumoto Kouichi hurt himself during a performance of the musical "Shock". He banged into a wall while doing his aerial stunt. Luckily his injury was not serious.
-Okada Junichi lost conciousness during a concert when Nagano Hiroshi accidently kicked him in the back of the head while dancing. Junichi was rushed to the hospital immediately. Luckily, Junichi made a fast recovery, and they did not have to cancel any more concerts. Inohara Yoshiko was so worried about Junichi that he was near tears when they were waiting at the hospital.
-Okada Junichi (19) and the sultry idol Yuka (19) are presumed to be dating. A magazine caught the two spending a looong time together in Junichi's car. However, Yuka later commented that they were just talking and they were "just friends".
