Scene Study Using the Meisner Technique
A workshop series led by Bob Vernon

Class will meet informally on Saturday, August 5th (NO CHARGE) to meet & greet, discuss our backgrounds, and generally have a good time.
Place: TBD.
This series will focus on working on scenes using the Meisner technique, but also discussing the future of theater, process vs product, and each person's experiences in the theater...good and bad. The class is a chance to interact with other artists and express yourself.
Bob is happy to be back home in New England after spending the last six years in Pennsylvania at Penn State University where he received his M.F.A. in Directing. After earning his degree, Bob spent three years on the faculty at Penn State teaching acting and directing.
Bob has been a freelance actor and director for the last twenty years. What he enjoys most is teaching acting and coaching actors. He has directed more than fifty productions ranging from Once on this Island to Hamlet. As an actor, he has appeared in more than one hundred productions.
Regional and University work includes Penn State, Salem State College, The Weathervane Theatre, Seacoast Repertory Theatre, Pennsylvania Centre Stage, St. Anselm College, and the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
