The Takashimaya Department Store in Futakotamagawa, Tokyo was a pleasant surprise. All the stores are gardening, interior design and/or pet related AND it is OK to bring your dog shopping with you. On the roof of the building there are different types of gardens which you can sit back relax and enjoy as you sip some tea in the roof top coffee shop. I bought a strawberry plant and sunflower seeds from one of the stores and hopefully they will blossom before I have to leave. |

The gardens were designed by an English "gardening artist" and this is my favorite one. You can see a bit of the city through the trellis. |
