When the UK gaarage phenomenom exploded 2 years ago, EZ was one of the people continually name checked by the DJ's, and with Tuff Jam being the only garage player to be featured in the top 100 DJ's, underground garage is still very much a london thing, although EZ gets out of the capital (playing Leicester and Nottingham) he plays mainly to the home crowd at nights such as Twice as Nice, Pure Silk and Bliss. EZ has won the clubbers vote for best club DJ of 1998 at the 1998 underground garage awards.
For me, EZ is an example of what real mixing is. His style tends to vary from sweet soulful Garage to a more hardcore, baseline 2Step sound.
