| "Do's" *Arrive early at shows, I would say depending on the breed and your grooming procedure, a good hour before ring time should suit you *Keep your dog in good physical condition even if he/she is just a juniors dog, the appearance of your dog shows your comminment to its health, this goes with coat condition as well *Dress to Impress, For young ladies this means appropiate length skirts or pant suits, something that will not block your dog, for instance when showing a small breed do not wear a long skirt, this will only flap in your dogs face when it moves. For guys a nice shirt, dress pants, and jacket, will do good. Remeber to keep in mind the weather. * In the ring keep a happy attitude! Not only will you feel more comfortable but your dog will be more comfortable, remeber tension will run down that lead. |
