| I personally love free stacking, I teach all my puppies how to free stack when i first get them, free stacking takes time and repitivness but when your dog gets it its such a wonderful sight that will send shivers down your spine, I love seeing a dog standing there focused on your every move and free stacking is what some judges use to see how well you know your own dog. | ||||||||||||
| here is a nice picture of a flat-coated retriever free stacking, Notice the focused attention and the loose lead. This is something you need to work on with your dog. | ||||||||||||
| Here is an angled shot of a sheltie being free stacked, i think most shelties and herding breeds at that are very much a hands off breed meaning the judge doesnt wana see a lot of touching between the dog and handler, just a graceful handling to show off your dog without physcially manipulating them | ||||||||||||
