| The Chest |
| Who went: Aaron and Hannah What happened: "This is gonna be really cool!" Hannah giggled excitedly. She and Aaron had found the first clue near the fire. Aaron hadn't said anything. "You alright Azza?" She asked. "Yeh, i'm fine." He answered, with his head down and forcing a smile. "It's Lauz isn't it?" He nodded, "Don't worry, the time'll fly!" "No, but we just got here, think how it's gonna be later on..." He sat down. She didn't know why, but Hannah felt herself getting a bit angry with him, "Yeh, well everyone gets homesick, get over it!" She yelled. She didn't know why, but she felt as if Aaron had hurt her, stabbed a knife right through her. "Lets just find this thing and go back to camp." She said spitefully. She snatched the directions off of him and started walking. Aaron followed, he decided to stay silent, as he didn't know what to say. Hannah read aloud: "7paces Forward, Turn to the right, Look up the tree and theres a bug in sight." They followed the directions, looked up, and there, on a low branch, was a model bug with a clue stuffed between its wings. Aaron grabbed and read: "Climb the tree and you will see, some paper, yep, clue number 3!! Han, i'll give you a boost, and you can climb." Hannah nodded, not looking at him. *** She struggled down and pulled the paper out her mouth and said: "Back to camp to find the chest, search near the fire, you figure the rest!" And she walked on quickly, rtying to stay as far away from Aaron as possible. She didn't know why she said what she said, but she knew it had upset both her and Aaron. *** Back at Camp |
