The draft will take place on January 2, 2003, at 8:30pm Central Standard Time. The draft will be done online using AOL Instant Messenger. I will invite all the franchises into a chat where the draft will take place.

The draft will consist of eight rounds. In these eight rounds, each franchise must select one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers/tight ends, a kicker, and a defensive/special teams unit.

There are no transactions after the draft. Whenever a player's team is eliminated from the playoffs, that player is finished and you will no longer earn any points for that slot on your roster.

Here is the scoring system for the league. Notice that return yards do not count for anything and a defense can earn points for holding a team to little or no points.

Answers to some common questions:

You do not have to carry a tight end if you choose not to. You can fill the three WR/TE slots with any combination of wide receivers and tight ends.

If a team kicks a field goal, runs back a kickoff or punt for a touchdown, or blocks a kick resulting in a score against your defense, those points count against you for the defense allowing points.

If a punter runs out of the back of the end zone, those points do not count against your team defense.

There are no negative points for fumbles, interceptions, missed field goals, etc.
