More About Me

Hello, My name is Juniper. I'm 32 years old. I have recently moved back to Nottinghamshire after spending 6 years living on the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula. Currently I am studying to become an Holistic Therapist specialising in Reflexology, Aromatherapy and maasage. I am also interested in Indian Head Massage and Bach Flower Remedies.

Apart from my interests in holistic health, witchcraft and my garden, I also enjoy various crafts, mainly hand spinning. I use an Ashford Traveller wheel. While I was living in Wales I was a member of the Lleyn Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers which I loved and from who I picked up a wealth of information. I also enjoy making lotions and potions for the skin and body using natural products.

I am also a big reader of books, my favourite being 'The Mists of Avalon' by Marion Zimmer Bradley, 'Wise Child' and 'Juniper' by Monica Furlong. Other authors I enjoy reading are Diana Gabaldon and Barbara Erskine. I also read an awful lot of non-fiction on subjects including witchcraft, holistic health, gardening, crafts, history, pre-history, women's issues and natural living. I don't tend to watch much tv when I do I enjoy Buffy, Angel, Charmed, documentaries (especially history), and costume dramas.

Of course I also love to listen to music mainly folk, new age, celtic and sometimes some rock. My favourites include Loreena McKennitt, Carolyn Hillier, Silver on the Tree, Praying for the Rain, Levellers, Kate Bush,Clannad, Maire Brennan and Capercaillie.
