Hedgewitch

This page is about my own beliefs. I am an eclectic witch. I consider myself to be a hedgewitch. I practise alone. My hearth and home are very important to me as is the countryside where I live. I try to live gently upon our Earth. Most  of all I cherish Our Lady and Lord.

For six years I lived on the Lleyn Peninsula in Wales, which was very wild, isolated and beautiful, I felt very close to the  Goddess there. Now I am adjusting to living in a semi urban environment, I recently felt quite separated from my spirituality. My faith has never wavered, but I wondered how to practise it here. But thankfully I have overcome this! The Gods are everywhere.

I miss Wales very much and hope to return one day, I shall visit and see my friends and walk on the mountain. As I am living back in my home town I have access to the hills of Derbyshire, which are covered in the remains of our ancestors . I hope to reflect  what I discover and learn on these pages!

Most of my beliefs stem from a British, especially Welsh source. I am particularly influenced by our pre-historic ancestors, they had knowledge of the Earth Mysteries that we can only guess at. I believe in reincarnation, and am aware I have lived many lives, some of which were  in Wales, including on the mountain. You could say I returned home! I also believe in fairies, gnomes, pixies etc as elementals, that spirits dwell within tree, rock, water and fire as well as within the sky.
