I have an honours degree in anthropology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ont. Canada. The Anthropology department has an interesting homepage. I failed my first year in a bilingual, french and english college called Glendon College, which was a part of York Univeristy. I worked and travelled to Europe and then I entered McMaster, after being advised to study computer science. I felt attracted to anthropology, partially because a friend of mine was into archeology, and because I like the teachers. I studied a lot of cultural anthropology but my favorite subject was theatre and dramatic arts.

After graduating I did some field work study of Mayans, in particular, Mayan Indian schools in Guatemala with the conintuing education department of the University of Calgary. I studied some Spanish at that time. The following year I took some courses in anthropology at the University of Toronto, one with Professor Robert Lee, who is well known in anthropological circles for his work with Khalahari Bushmen, and hunters and gatheres. After this, I never studied another course in anthropology at university. My academic study was over.
