(Megan and Julia walk into the room and see Nick crying)
Julia: (walking over to them) What did you do to him?!
Antonia: Nothing. I said how are you doing and then�this.
(Nick leans over and hugs Julia)
Julia: Are you ok Nick?
Antonia: Don�t ask him that.
Julia: Jules�be nice won�t ya.
Antonia: I was being nice and look what happened. If this is going to happen everytime I�m nice�count me out. (Gets up and walks out of the room)
(Megan follows Antonia and Julia is trying to calm Nick down.)
Megan: (running after Antonia) Julia�Jules�TONY!
Antonia: (turns around) WHAT?!
Megan: (walks over to her) Where are you going?
Antonia: I don�t know but I�m going somewhere.
Megan: That wasn�t your fault you know.
Antonia: Oh really�Julia told me that everyone hates me�people I work with�people everywhere hate me. She told me to be nice�so I tried�and look were it got me. My mother has turned me into a selfish bitch.
Megan: You�re still thinking about yourself. Put yourself in his place. What would you do if Julia went into a rehab place?
Antonia: I don�t know. I think I would go insane.
Megan: Exactly. AJ is like an older brother to him. Do you understand now why he�s so upset?
Antonia: Sort of. I just don�t understand emotions. (Sits down on a bench)
Megan: And you�re an actress�go figure. (Sits next to her)
Antonia: I can cry on the spot if you ask me to�I can get angry and my face will turn red�ask me to do anything acting wise�I�m there�real people stuff�I�m gone.
Megan: It�s not too late to change.
Antonia: I think I�m beyond all hope.
Megan: Won�t know until you try.
Antonia: And how do I go about being �nice.�
Megan: Well�for starters�you do what you did in there.
Antonia: Make someone cry?
Megan: No�you listen�that�s what you were doing.
Antonia: Oh.
Megan: You stop thinking about yourself all the time and start to think about how other people would feel�stuff like that.
Antonia: Sounds hard to me.
Megan: Yup. You gonna come back now?
Antonia: I think I�ll stay out here a little longer and think about being nice.
Megan: You want company?
Antonia: No. I�m good. You can go back and see if Jules needs help.
Megan: Ok. (She goes back to the dorm and walks into her room)
Julia: (looks at Megan) Where�s Julia?
Megan: She�s outside.
Julia: What�s she doing outside?
Megan: We had a talk. I think she�s thinking now.
Julia: (gets up) Maybe I should go talk to her�it�s a sister thing you know.
Nick: I�ll go. It�s my fault she left.
Megan: You better now?
Nick: Yeah.
(Nick goes outside to find Antonia. He finds her sitting on a bench near the dorm building)
Nick: (sits down next to her) What�ca doing out here?
Antonia: Thinking about how to be nice. I just realized I�m�well�a bitch.
Nick: That could be a problem. If it helps at all your sister used to be a big bitch. I never used to like her when I first met her and then all of a sudden she was the nicest person on earth. It was like she was a totally different person.
Antonia: (silent)
Nick: I didn�t mean to offend you.
Antonia: No�no�you didn�t. Just opened my eyes a little that�s all.
Nick: I guess you could say it runs in the family�but Tony got better�I�m sure you can.
Antonia: You�re not helping here.
Nick: Sorry. And I�m sorry about before. I didn�t mean to freak you out or anything.
Antonia: You didn�t. I just didn�t know what to do.
Nick: I just want to say thanks�you helped me.
Antonia: (shocked) I did?
Nick: Yeah.
Antonia: Wow�so you mean I was nice to you?
Nick: Yeah.
Antonia: Wow�it�s working.
Nick: What�s working?
Antonia: Me being nice�I actually did it. (Smiles) I�m amazed.
Nick: You shouldn�t be amazed�you�re a nice person Julia.
Antonia: What�s she have to do�oh you mean me�right. Thanks.
Nick: (looks confused) You lost me.
Antonia: It�s just that�everyone calls me Jules�so I�m not used to hearing Julia.
Nick: Oh. So can I call you Jules then?
Antonia: Yeah sure.
Nick: I had to get permission from Tony to call her Tony.
Antonia: (laughs) You did?
Nick: Yup.
Antonia: That�s my sister.
