Batch Conversion - AutoCAD 2000 -> R14 or R12

Jim,

AutoCAD Mirgation assistance is your answer. It comes with A2K. You will notice that it has a
"batch Drawing converter". Run it. You will see that is has an option to "Convert to:" select R12DWG in this dilaloge. Put all the drawing you want to convert and let it do the work for you.

I was thinking that you could write a script (.SCR) for this task but, A2K will only let you save back to R13. =o( Thanks Autodesk.

I have a cd with about 700 drawing on it,  half in autocad R14, the rest in R2000. Do  you know of a utility that will convert the  all the drawings to Autocad R12 and autocad R14 without having to open each drawing in autocad R200 and doing a save-as.
