[email protected] MY POEMS
Always Together
Missing someone with all your heart
Wanting them with you never apart
Side by side throughout our life
Always together as husband and wife
That person who has a heart of gold
The person who is your very soul
Walking through life hand in hand
Loving and caring with these gold bands
Having a family a girl and a boy
Filling our hearts so full of joy
Watching them grow and setting them free
As they become what they want to be
Staying together and growing old
Still loving, caring and wearing our gold
As we come to the end of our walk through life
Still a loving caring husband and wife
As we meet our maker who made all this happen
Together forever on earth and in heaven

A Soldiers Wish
Do we need to go to war
Just to even up a score
These countries really need to show
That they can deal with their own foe
Tonight as I lay here dieing
Shot by a sniper hiding
The bullet came at me so fast
And went straight in my chest
I don't really want to die
As I lay here cold and dry
When I die please take me home
So that my soul may roam
Beside my family I must be
So they can come and visit me
Now this plea I must close
As my god hands me my rose
As I lay here all alone
Please grant my wish and send me home.

Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep
I am not there I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glint in the snow
I am the sunlight of ripen grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
And when you wake in the morning hush
I am the sweet uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the stars that shine at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there I did not die

Being With You
To have you close and have you near
Is all I really want my dear
To be with you each and every day
Is all my heart can do and say
To be with you through all the fears
And wipe away all of the tears
To be with you to hold you tight
Both everyday and everynight
I really want that to be
To be happy both you and me
