A $100 reward is given each time a tip is received which results in a drunk driver being arrested for DUI (Driving Under the Influence).

In 1999, about $2,000 was paid out by Crime Line as the result of the DUI reward program.

This program has saved Juneau lives over and over in the protection of life and property by helping remove these drunk drivers and other criminals from the streets of Juneau!  In the summer, an average of three rewards are paid out each month.

Juneau is in danger of losing this valuable program.  Crime Line is dangerously short of funds and is seeking new contributions in order to continue this service to the community.
