Communicating with China
Translating your letters to send to China, and translating letters from China to you:
"I have come to the conclusion that the simple thing to do is to buy Chinese stamps issued in the PRC from Chinasprout at www.chinasprout.com and send these." (If you require a response by mail)
"I am told that it is very expensive to send mail to the United States from China so your best bet for a response is to send them some stamps. The other issue I had and so many of you all, is translation of your letters and theirs. I have found a wonderful Chinese woman who does this and it can all be done over the internet or by fax. She normally does translation for more business type correspondence, but misses doing more personal letters as this takes her back to the "real" China. She charges .06 per word after it is translated into Chinese. She is very fast! I emailed her my letter and she emailed the translation back in one day. I just printed it and it was ready to go. You will have to send her your payment by mail. Her name is Shen-Li Cushman and she is from GuiYang, GuiZhou Province. She studied Chinese and English language at a University in China and has been in the United States for six years." Contact Shen-Li Cushman at: [email protected]
"Hope this helps some of you out."
