Michael is a Vice President at Meridian Systems Consulting, Inc. (an Information Systems firm) and I am a Homemaker.  A little about us...Michael and I have been married for 10 years and our adoption story starts even before that.  We had been exposed to adoption through family, friends, church, books, etc. and we decided that whether or not we could have biological children, that we would someday adopt.  In the early years of our marriage, we were blessed to be able to have biological children and we love them dearly.  But, in the last couple of years we have felt that someone is missing and that someone is HANNAH.  We started the paperwork in March, and submitted it to the CCAA on June 21.  I would like to end with a quote directly from Michael's Autobiography.  "We have focused on adopting a baby girl from China for a few years and everything has come together for us.  I know that adoption is right for us and we are very excited about adding to our family this way.  My personal feeling is that adoption is a wonderful, precious thing that God smiles on and I do not think that adopting a child into our family will be the end of the adoption story for us."

At 6 months, sitting up with assistance, shouts in a loud voice (too funny! she will fit right in with our family), shows excitement for food (also, too funny - she's just like her daddy), recognizes faces, very active, can feed herself a biscuit, extroverted, smiles a lot, loves music. She is 8kg and 63cm in length (still working on converting that). 41 cm head circumference, 44 cm chest circumference
