My son will be getting married on September 3rd, so I will be a new mother and a mother-in-law all in the same year. My husband of 25 years, Pat, died of cancer last year. We had talked about adoption before he became ill, so I am fulfilling our dream of adding onto our family. I have a Sheltie, Maggie, and one cat, Gus. I will be teaching 5th grade Language Arts / Social Studies this coming year. I am switching schools and grade levels so my new daughter can go to the same school where I am teaching.
