If you wish to hide something from someone you must stick it right under their nose!

This will guarantee that they will spend their days chasing rainbows. Why would anyone think that a simple formula for networking would be the answer to the age-old puzzle of the holy grail?

Why would anyone look at the wheels of the wagon for the ARK rather than the mysterious looking box on top?

Q. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS UNIVERSAL OR NATURAL LAW?

A: Just as animals, birds and bees have a natural, built in structure for survival so mankind is supplied with this innate structure or formula for survival

John Naisbitt says in "Megatrends" Futura edition 1984; page 192

Simply stated networks are people talking to each other, sharing ideas, information and resources. The point is often made that networking is a verb, not a noun. The important part is not the network, the finished product, but the process of getting there-the communication that creates the linkages between people and clusters of people. and further on, Networks exist to foster self-help, to exchange information, to change society, to improve productivity and work-life and to share resources.
