MY BEAUTIFUL ISLE OF SOMEWHERE

Episode 17:

Invisible, I sat there writing down this stuff
waiting for the Mousepack
to say it was enough

but ET said, No, keep it up, we haven't finished yet
we need communication
and may use the internet.

I'm sure there's plenty out there with plenty more to say
there's plenty brains that go unused
and plenty know the way!

It's time for you to show yourself and tell them what you've done
As Lou here's Alter Ego
you've had your bit of fun

she might not be too happy and think it's rather risible
that she's got another side
that's always been invisible

It might be better after all to let her think it's she
who's writing down this poem
which is all about the ME

For that's the reason we're all here, there isn't any other
it doesn't matter who we are
whether dad or mother,

whether aunt or uncle or whether unrelated
learning how to use the ME's
the only Law that's fated.

So, as Lou's Alter Ego get ready for the fray
you'd better keep her active
or else she might decay

for as these dears get older and getting long in tooth
they sometimes let their lives become
what some might call, uncouth

Hey there Lou, what wrong with you, we think you've been asleep
Oh sorry Dick and all of you,
I've promises to keep

This poem I've been writing on how we all first met
I thought I'd like to put it out
onto the Internet

Crikey Lou, you silly moo, you haven't got a clue
we'd all become a laughing stock
if everybody knew

about ET and Mrs. Gunn, Black Elk and Adam Smith
and Bucky and the rest of them
that we've been talking with

You're right I know, I should shut up but something deep inside
tells me what I ought to do,
it's kind'a like a guide

I've got a funny feeling, they won't be coming back
I think that now it's up to us,
to start our own Mousepack

How many of us are there? There's Harry, Dick and Gert
there's Sue and Tom and what about
we ask old Uncle Bert

to start our little circle and then we just should BE
relaxing and enjoying
as we let our minds roam free

That's fine by me, I'd like to BE, happy, gay and free
I'm tired of toil, said Uncle Bert,
what's this about the ME?

So Gertie, in her quiet voice and looking rather shy
said, I was told it's rather like
a tasty piece of pie

that's there for everyone of us, a pie for us to bake
then cut it into sections
for each of us to take

one section for our very own to eat and satisfy
but all must keep on mixing up
and baking our own pie!

Well, I'll be blowed! said Uncle, and even though I'm crook
if that is all we have to do,
then I can be your cook!

Tell him Lou, said sister Sue, poor Uncle's quite confused
Tell him that the piece of pie's
a metaphor we used.

We're beating round the bush again, just say it as it is,
We've got to be fair dinkum
it's not some sort of quiz

that keeps the people guessing on what it's all about
or only lets out bits of it
while keeping them in doubt

for after all it's simple and so it's always been
a basic well known structure
that everybody's seen

It starts with just one person, then two and three and four
eight is right for harmony
we won't need any more

It's just a simple circle that we can work within
supporting one another
whether kith or kin

Then others form their circle and others yet again
and this becomes the structure
for the brotherhood of man

Each person from each circle contributes equal time
making sure each need is met
it needn't cost a dime

There's many ways to work it, the main thing is, it's free
for all to join a circle
and use their Energy

conceiving and inventing with bold anticipation
of a life worth living
in a new creation

Hey there Lou, our Mousetrap doesn't mean The Mouse That Roared
It seems to me you're going
just a trifle overboard

Oh Tom don't you remember what you said about "the gap"
you said something was missing
and you'd like to get it back

and ET said "a mighty net that's called the Holy Grail,
covers every part of earth,
of mountain, hill and dale"

Lou's right, he did, he also said the circle was divided
evenly, so everyone
discussed and then decided

even only one idea would help to get us started
and rewards would surely come,
should we all be wholehearted

and give support to anyone who has the right intention
so go on Lou, I think that there is
more that you might mention

Tell old Bert about the net, "Don't call me old," said Bert "
I'm good for twenty years or more
my mind is still alert

and what's more I could tell you all some things that you could do
I've been around for long enough
to know a thing or two

For instance, what about that bloke, his name was Henry George
he wrote Progress and Poverty
and how we all could forge

a life set free from misery, a higher social state
so "there's" a subject to engage
discussion and debate

That's it, said Dick, Bert's got it, there's so much more to life
there's so much rubbish out there
ignorance is rife

And what is more, said Uncle Bert, there's lack of full discussion
you'd think mankind had drawn a blank,
like, suffering from concussion

Their mouths that they should open are full of toxic foods
which in turn may modify
their fluctuating moods

Man loses sense of balance not knowing left from right
and pollies take advantage
of the sadness of his plight

And even sadder is the fact that pollies aren't so fey
for they pretend concern and care
but keep on making hay

A simple truth they need to learn which won't cost them a cent
Parchment outlasts paper
and rock outlasts cement

Invention gave us steam and rail, the printing press and light
along with nitro-glycerine
and gas and dynamite!

I'll tell you more of Henry George, there's little of him known
He said, Progress is halted
as Poverty is grown

A question Henry asked of us "Whence come the new barbarians?"
Who can answer in reply?
Perhaps the centenarians?

No-one answers Henry George, so warn your sons and daughters
that new Barbarians will arise
from Great Cities' squalid quarters

Society dies from bottom up Religion from the root
Social maladjustment
causes man to rob and loot

As the prisons, almshouse and asylums do increase
is the sign that civilized society
will cease

Books will kindle fires and freedoms they will muster
We claim to honour Liberty
but still we do not trust her

Why, Uncle Bert, I am surprised how much you seem to know
You'll find it all in Henry's book
said Bert, Now I must go

I have to lock my chooks up it's getting rather dark
but I'll come back tomorrow
.... up wrong trees you might bark!

OK they said in chorus we'll meet again next week
and ET too, may come again
if truths we wish to seek

I'll ask him to bring Henry George and also Mary Shelley
said Dick, Then make it Tuesday night...
there's not much on the telly

Oh Dick, said Lou, I can't believe that after all we've heard
You'd bother watching re-runs
on that stupid hurdy-gurd

Watch it Lou...Don't criticize I don't need commentaries
on what to think and what to see
I like my documentaries

Sometimes I think the more I learn the less I seem to know
I would have thought by now their words,
would help to make me grow

Don't worry Lou we're back again said ET, take it easy
Remember how we said to try
and keep things bright and breezy,

Now Mary here can tell you what it's like to be depressed
and Henry George is here to say
life puts you to the test

Oh yes, said Mary, it was hard to watch my babies dying
one minute I was happy
the next would find me crying

My novels were my outlet I wrote of Frankenstein
and why his monster craved to be
a part of life's design;

and how this monster suffered when his maker looked so shocked
at what he had created......
a hulk that nature mocked.

When science finds yet other ways of solving mankind's plight
they may sound very plausible
but that won't mean they're right

It's far too hard my monster said to check on all they claim
and when things go from bad to worse,
no-one takes the blame!

Your world today has little learned that health and wealth's the same
where once we could plead ignorance
with none to bear the shame

the ills that we were prone to, from measles to the lame
were known to us but in this day
diseases have no name

And yet you seem so cocky when handing out the doses
guaranteed as cure-all
from dandruff to neurosis

All your constant wailing and cries of stress and strain
could be laid at your own door...
as self-inflicted pain.

and who can watch a baby cry without a sense of doom
who's bejabbed by a needle
while barely from the womb

Little's changed from long ago when people lived with grime
and filth from lack of sewage,
and died while in their prime

Your cities now cement the farms where once grew apple trees
your skies are often sickly grey
from toxic industries

My monster was a warning to you who place reliance
and trust in those who have no care
for anything but science

My goodness Mary Shelley dear, said ET butting in,
We realise that in your day
the poor, got lost in gin

and I think it's right to say today, for all its pomp and show,
the poor get lost in shopping malls
if they're feeling low

However, what I'm here for is not just reminiscing
on your past and future lives,
the point that you are missing

is why we've come together at this present here and now
and whether you have learned from us
on what to do and how

It's CODE is in a Circle divided up by eight
each section makes an octave
in which all can debate

Its MOTTO is in Progress, Service and Support
it is costless and it's priceless
a gem that can't be bought

Its AIMS are social justice through reciprocity
 there is no condescension
or need for charity

It's very strange how nature can kill or cure or maim
and stranger yet that mankind still
knows not from whence he came

We hear the moans of human race while watching the inhuman face
of those who claim it is God's will
who say don't act, to just be still

to bear the pangs of misery, of wars and strife and poverty
"For that's your fate you worthless lot"
they'll claim that you're not worth a jot!

Make sure that you ignore them they're all so full of it
it's only bluff and bluster
they'll burst with one 'king hit'

There are so many out there knocking on your door
who wish to help you bring about
this Universal Law

you know of course it's been around forever and a day
it's known by many varied names
and often called The Way

The reason it's kept secret is not hard to guess
it's based on mankind's energy
encouraging prowess

and you can just imagine if everybody knew
the recipe to live a life
where all receive their due

The Fives would lose their power, their money and control
and even in some cases
they'd even lose their soul

So here's a parting gift for all before I say adieu
It's my own version of the Law
I'll leave it here for you

Now you can make some changes and as the days go by
just remember "EVERYONE
MUST HAVE THEIR PIECE OF PIE"

It's time, George said, to get things straight, You're dead right George, said Tom
If men don't pull their socks up,
we're headed for the bomb

But what about the wimmin' George, they're always blamin' us
you're pathetic Salty,
quit making such a fuss

Keep it cool and let them be, it's like the Chinese Dragon
It only takes a rumour mate
to set their tongues awaggin'

So my advice is cop it sweet and do not fret unduly
cos crikey mate, our next PM
could be a Jill or Julie

ET said, It's in your hands, so let's all have a cuppa
while I reveal the secrets of
Da Vinci's "The Last Supper"

A silence settled over all as supping from their cup,
they turned as one to see the thing
ET was holding up.

You'll note, he said, Da Vinci has a fetish for their hands.
This painting holds a message for
All people of All lands.

Each finger stands for every single person in the nation
Each thumb becomes a symbol for
a live communication.

Hold your fingers upwards then fold around your thumb,
you'll see how every finger,
by its closeness has become

like petals on a flower, in the middle lies the bud
the image is a Lotus
arising from the mud.

Da Vinci's Code has long been known by President and Pope
The Mason's and the Templars
deprived mankind of hope.

He tried his best to tip us off on what the fingers meant,
yes, Man conducts the Energy
that is from heaven sent.

There's one that's pointing upwards, he's asking "Is this ME?
" His finger is the very same
we see in Mercury.

The Messenger is Mercury, his finger is the message
and like The Emperor's Clothing
his message is in dressage.

It says I AM the Energy that flows the world throughout
It can be used for waging wars
or bringing peace about.

Many artists also knew this secret and its teaching
Like the Masons building Spires
as conduits for them reaching

their goal as earth's conductors. Conversion is the rule
For this is how the Earth becomes
man's saviour and footstool.

I've said enough, we're leaving now, I know that you're not stupid
Research and learn, it's all out there
and don't forget that Cupid

is a goal we need to reach, and here is yet another,
it's all about the way you love
and who it is you mother

Goodbye my friends, we'll meet again in heaven that's for sure
and be assured, the best part is,
there ain't no rich or poor

Respect for all is paramount and on our dying day,
the welcome mat's put out for us
who walk on feet of clay

So Ta, ta, to mates, I wish you well, I think you've had an earful
and on this parting note I say,
there's no need to be tearful

up there Cazaly, let her rip, remember don't be fearful
and don't forget our motto...if
you can't be good be cheerful.
