eg MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk Instant Messengers are the softwares that uses your contacts to connect with you person to person. First you have to register on their website to use them. There are many free messengers available but the smartest is my Free MSN which is used by most of the teenagers in Pakistan but the most frequently used in the world is Yahoo Messenger however many other free messengers including Google talk are available on net to chat person to person on internet. The also enable you to voice chat and even video chats. They are provided with chat rooms and you can join one. Chatting
Chatting needs softwares that connect you to others. Some of them needs to register on their website and then join chat rooms like Yahoo Messenger but some do not need register before joining chat rooms like mirc. There are many free websites and softwares available but the smartest is MIRC which is used by most of the teenagers in Pakistan. Other chatting softwares and websites are Chat Shorts
