In a fairytale
Is where our love's kept
Where everyone knows
And everyone can accept.
In a far off land
Where I'm no longer shy
I'd never let
True love pass me by.
But here on earth
You can never know
I won't ever tell you
Because I know you'd go.
You'd go far away
And never come back
I know that is how
You would react.
I can't bare to lose
What isn't even there
And I can't just say
That I don't care.
Because I do care
I really do
It's hard to believe
But yes, it's true.
When you look at me
With your sparkling eyes
I know that you're someone
I could never dispise.
The slightest touch
Makes my heart skip a beat
When you brush by,
I'm swept off my feet.
The sound of your voice
I hear in my dreams
Your words flow evenly
Like small peaceful streams.
The curve of your lips
Form a cute little smile
That I know I wont forget
For quite a while.
All of these thought
You must never find out.
I'll keep them secrets -
That no one will know about.

Looking down at you -
You're so pale and thin,
I begin to think
About the world I'm living in.
A cold, cruel world
That shows no compassion,
Where one little thing
Can cause so much action.
You didn't say a word -
You just stood there proud.
As they beat you down
You couldn't help scream aloud.
I ran to the phone -
Called 911.
As I gave the information
My mind drifted towards our fun.
I guess the world's
Not always that bad
If you think of all
The good times we have had.
All of our laughs,
All of our cries,
All of our talks,
Containing no lies.
I hung up the phone
And turned around.
That's when I saw you there
Lying on the ground.
Like a small stream,
Blood poured from your head.
And your clothes were covered
With large spots of dark red.
I took your hand
And held onto it tight.
Hoping the whole time
That you'd be alright.
My thoughts were broken
As the ambulance pulled up
They put you on a stretcher
And drove away in their truck.
I follow to the hospital
In the waiting room I wait.
I close my eyes
And think of your fate.
I'm still sitting here.
I'm still looking down.
Plastered on my face
Is a devastated frown.
My eyes fill with tears
Some of them fall.
I can't bare to look
So I turn towards the wall.
Then I look back,
Stare at your face
And look at your body
Which I wish to embrace.
Then suddenly, but slowly
You begin to awaken
And straight to my heart
Is where you are taken.
You look at me
And I can't help but smile.
I've been waiting to look into your eyes
For quite a while.
So we talk and talk
About this unforgettable day.
Then the doctor comes in
And says you'll be okay.
It's now been a week
You're recovering well.
When you return to school
You'll have such a story to tell.
So something that had
Started out so wrong
Was able to become
A love that's still strong.

Based on a True Story
The first time I saw you
It was at a quick glance
But I had already pictured
In my mind our first slow dance.
The movie started
And the lights dimmed down
And on my face
Was an flipped over frown.
I went for popcorn
They made it just right
And when I came back
We had a popcorn fight.
Halfway through
You moved over a seat
And the way the light hit you
Made you look so innocent and sweet.
The shaking of your hand
The nervous look on your face
Made me believe
I had found my place.
You got closer to me
But the movie came to an end
And I thought to myself
'Will I ever see you again?'
You left the theatre
And I wanted to cry
I got nothing from you
Not even a goodbye.
