HONGOU YUI is Miaka's best friend. She's very intelligent, and deep down, she's very dedicated to Miaka and loves her very much. But tragic events (caused by Nakago) drove her to turn against Miaka. And became the Seiryuu no Miko (Priestess of Seiryuu) which was the mortal enemy of Suzaku.

NAKAGO is the blond haired, blue eyed shogun of Kutou, the eastern country. He's also the intelligent, calculating, and cold leader of the Seiryuu Seishi. He caused all the troubles in the entire series, well, who could blame him?, for he suffered a painful past.

AMIBOSHI (Bu Koutoku) is the older of the Seiryuu twins, Amiboshi is kind-hearted and gentle who doesn't like to fight, Nakago made him to. His weapon is a flute, which he uses to control the ki of others.

SUBOSHI (Bu Shunkaku) the younger of the twins. He is much more cold-hearted and ill tempered than Amiboshi. He loves his brother and Yui, very much, and is very devoted to both of them. However, his devotion can turn into war maniac if he thinks someone has hurt them.

SOI (Haku Kaen) is the only woman among the Seiryuu Seishi. She was once a prostitute, who Nakago had saved before. She loves Nakago very much, and is completely dedicated to him.

TOMO is dancer by trade, Tomo is a magician who specializes in illusions. Once caught in thrall by his illusion, though the world is not real, what happens to a person seems real. Without his mask he looks like Hotohori.

ASHITARE was originally from Hokkan. He is a half-wolf, half-human beast that Nakago found in a circus tent. Nakago turned him even worst. He don't hesitate to kill.

MIBOSHI is the mysterious evil monk who aged hundreds of years. Miboshi's details are largely unknown. He possesses the ability to infiltrate the bodies of others... usually children because they're easier to take over.
