LA - Poxa amiga, eu to ha horas aqui falando e vc nem p/ me escutar.
J - Sorry Lee. Eu tava lendo uma carta que eu achei aqui. _disse com lagrimas nos olhos.
LA - Posso ver?
J - Claro! _disse entregando a carta.
Leighanne pegou o papel, dobrado em diversas partes, amarelado do tempo. Ao terminar de ler, ela disse:
LA - Nossa! Que linda! Mas naum entendi!
J - Essa eh a copia da carta que eu deixei p/ o meu namorado quando fui embora de Lexington.
LA - Puxa amiga! Muito linda mesmo! Vc deveria ama-lo muito.
J - Demais! Ele foi o unico homem que amei de verdade.
LA - E ainda o ama?!
J - Nahhh! Passou. Nuca mais o vi des que meu pai foi transferido p/ New York.
LA -Pois eh, eu me lembro que vc me falou sobre isso qndo nos conhecemos. Logo que vc se mudou p/ Ny. Mas, vcs naum se falaram mais?!
J - Sim. Quando eu morava em NY nos falavamos tds os dias. Ele queria ir p/ la morar comigo. Falava ateh em casamento. Mas eu tinha apenas 16 anos e ele 18. E, logo, meu pai decidiu ir cuidar da filial da empresa, na Franca. Ai achei melhor acabar de vez e, ai sim, nunca mais nos falamos.
LA - Puxa, que pena! Que triste! Mas e essa letra, eh uma musica mesmo?
J - Eh sim!
LA - De quem?
J - Minha! Eu escrevi p/ ele.
LA - Uau! Eh linda! Pq vc naum o procura? Quem sabe vcs ficam juntos?
J - Magina Lee! Naum tem mais nada a ver. Eh passado. Ele jah deve estar casado, afinal, ele tah com 28, quase 29 anos.
LA - E ai?! Isso naum quer dizer nada. Vc tem quase 27 e naum ta casada.
J - Mas to noiva, esqueceu?!
LA - Ih, esqueci! Hahaha... Mas po, noiva ainda naum eh casada. Vc ainda pode mudar isso.
J - LEEEE!! Eu gosto do Colin!
LA - Tah bem! Se ele me ouve falar isso p/ vc, ele me mata. Do jeito que ele ama vc!
J - Pois eh, eu tive mt sorte. Eu gosto mt dele.
LA - Mas naum ama como amava seu primeiro namorado, neh?!
J - LEE!!! _disse jogando uma amolfada na amiga.
LA - Tah, parei! Qndo sera a premiere do filme do Colin?!
J - Dia 25 agora.
LA - E O MEU CASAMENTO?!
J - Calma! Seu casamento eh soh dia 2 de Setembro. Dia 26 pego um aviao p/ Atlanta.
LA - Promete?!
J - Prometo!
LA - Ufa! Ai, to tao feliz por te-la morando aqui em Los Angeles. Eh bem mais perto que Londres! Hehehe
J - Hahaha! Tb to feliz de estar + perto de vc! Mas, agora, me ajuda a arrumar essas caixas da mudanca.
LA - Exploradora! _disse fingindo-se de brava.
J - Pleeeeeaaaase! _disse fazendo cara de cachorro que caiu do caminhao da mudanca.
LA - Tah bem! Vamos... 1... 2... 3...
E assim fizeram, ficaram o resto do dia arrumando coisas na nova casa de Juliana que, acabara de se mudar, de Londres p/ Los Angeles.
