#40. "Mill on the Hill " - Watercolour on Winsor & Newton Cold-pressed -2002 . Ruins of a sugar windmill, one of scores that dot the Antiguan landscape. Once there were hundreds.
#41. "Bougainvillea, Gutter Lane" - Watercolour on Bockingford tinted -2002 . This lane borders St John's Cathedral on the southwestern side. On the right is the church wall.
#32. "Gate-door" (detail) - Watercolour on Arches 140 Hot-pressed paper - 2002. The title, a bit of informal Caribbean English, could not be a more apt name for this stone-arched gate, found on the fringe of the capital.

This history-rich area of Nelson's Dockyard, is the well-preserved park that was the Caribbean base of the Royal Navy in the Napoleonic Wars. The view is of the Copper and Lumber Store, now a hotel (left), and Nelson's Quarters, now a maritime museum. (Private Collection)
