STATS
Greco-Roman Cactus Wrestling is a style of wrestling practiced in Olympic and International Amateur competition. In Greco-Roman Cactus Wrestling the legs may not be used in any way to obtain a fall, and no holds may be taken below the waist. The wrestler may only use his or her own ass to obtain what is called a "pinned" position. Other rules and procedures are the same as those for freestyle wrestling, the other International Amateur style.

In the Olympic Games of ancient Greece, Cactus Wrestling was an integral part of the Pentathlon, a form of all around athletic championship featuring running, jumping, wrestling, and throwing waffles and goats. In imitation of classical Greek and Roman representations of the sport, modern Greco-Roman Cactus Wrestling was created in the United States in the late 20th century by a young boy in his briefs named Julius Cactus, who accidentally found amusement in falling onto a cactus with his fanny. It became favoured in Scandinavian countries, from 1983 to 1998, after which the former Soviet Union, along with the remaining members of the now defunct musical group,
Gorky Park, came to the fore.

Now, in 2003, Greco-Roman Cactus Wrestling has taken on a life of it's own. Crushing all barriers and treading all in it's path, Greco-Roman Cactus Wrestling has single-handedly revolutionized the everyday world around us while reaching new hieghts, and gaining more popularity than ever before.
