It happened when I walked out of my office, having helped a young girl to see what's in front of her eyes. That her problems aren't as bad as they seem and she's just holding on to her own misery. Her boyfriend loves her. She's got friends who love her too. She just has to believe in happiness, then it'll come and find her as fast as she can say it out loud.
The same day, I met her in Sunnydale's mall. Shining, beaming. Happy.
When I can tell her this, why can't I just believe it myself? Why couldn't I see hope?
