Hey everyone,
Well I guess I'll start in on my first rant.... so here goes nothing... and I apologize to all the males who read this...
Why are guys so bloody confusing?? Seriously, they do one thing and say another and here I am wondering whether I should scratch my watch or wind my butt. In recent history, my best friend and I knew where we stood, but we managed to contradict that. We were the best of friends (not that we aren't now I'm just painting the picture for you), and we, well to put it bluntly, messed that up by a simple kiss.. and it was mutual, and we laid on his bed for a few hours just talking (no we did not do anything but tickle each other) and the shear lay out of it was perfect, my head upon his chest and his hand smoothing my hair back and his other arm holding me close to him, but then I get this e-mail from him saying that he loves me as a friend as though nothing ever happened.. all the while not even asking what my feelings were... which are no longer merely friendly if one can catch my drift... I mean, when you're so close to someone it's not like you think about whether or not you two will date cause it's not an issue, with him and I we never talked about it we just knew that we loved each other and that's all that mattered.. but once the line is crossed, someone's bound not to be able to cross back across that line.
But I must question why he has to contradict himself and why other males follow suit... is it their undying fear of rejection that which they spew forth this contradicting jargon or is it them just crying for a booty call... or is it dare I say a few hours of losing their minds? personally in my case I'm going to have to eliminate the second of the choices as my dearest friend would not do that sort of thing unless he meant it... If anyone knows why this is.. please I beg of you... explain it to me...
