Hey you guys.... I guess tonight we're going to talk... no wait.. you're gonna listen to me bitch about the bible beaters... you know the type.. the ones who say "God Bless" every time they say good bye... Now I do know people like that.. they can be very nice, but most of them are hypocritical. They say they love Jesus, but they judge others so strongly... those are usually the ones who look down on those who have sinned and are open and accepting of that sin, because they (the sinners) recognized that they as human beings are unclean, sinful and well inherently evil. Now our dear bible beaters tell us that we should be in the deepest of repentence and live our lives like them.. now these people sin... how do i know? They're human and I don't think they're divine by any means... in fact, wasn't Jesus that said "Let he who has no sin, cast the first stone."? Now these bible beaters are sinners.. and I see them throwing a lot of stones.... Yes that is where the hypocrisy comes in. We all as humans are hypocritical.. we can't help it, but the bible beaters are almost consciously doing it... I, myself have been victim to one "beater" in particular, who shall remain nameless, but I find it really really annoying that someone can say "God Bless" and "I love Jesus" when they don't live the way Jesus taught. Jesus taught acceptance of one another, yet they don't accept those who are flawed. I am proud to sin, because I know that I love my neighbor.. maybe not as much as I love me, but hey.. I have to love me cause I'm stuck with me.. if I don't like my neighbors.. I can move. My mother raised me to be Christ like, loving people for who they are and accepting adversity and embracing diversity. Now I do admit that I don't always do that.. cause I'm flawed... believe it or not...
My thought is, the next time you see one of these bible beaters... just ignore them, or if you must pay them a little attention.. pity them... these are the hypocrites... "Alas Alas for you lawyers and pharisees, hypocrits that you are." "Even now the prostitutes and thieves are getting into heaven because they fear the Lord."
