| Hello. My name as you will have gathered by now is Julie. I live in Australia, in Central Western New South Wales. I have 3 children Tracy, Matthew and Julieanne and 7 grandchildren Leslie, Emmalie, Jacob, Josephine, Michael. Jaydyn and Ashlie. I enjoy working and my garden is my relaxation although it may not look like it at times. There are just not enough hours in the day. Don't we all pray for more time to spend in our gardens, whether they be spiritual or floral. I find my garden feeds my soul and being close to nature I feel closer to God. My garden is God's garden and together we potter around and chat and He gives me the strength I need to carry on with my life. Being a working grandmother is very frustrating as, unlike my mother and grandmother, I am not at home for my grandchildren. There is a lot to be said for the opportunity to stay home and be a 'house gran'. I pray that all you house grans reading this really appreciate how lucky you are. |
