Google - Google claims to index the most of the web out there. Everything I have ever wanted to find, I've been able to find with Google. A great searching tool! |

Altavista - Altavista, along with being a great search engine, also has many other options for you to use. You can also visit their translator to have some foreign language translated. |

Ask.com - AskJeeves is different because you can form your search like a question and just ask for what you want! This one's results aren't always accurate, though. |

Dogpile - Dogpile is a meta search engine that searches lots of other search engines to find what you're looking for. An overall good choice if you don't want to search lots of different pages. |

Fish4It! - Fish4it is a cool little website that uses a fishing game to help you find your sites. The downfall is you never know what link you are going to get to. But it's kind of fun! |

Yahoo! - Yahoo! is not just a search engine; it's a portal! Just like Altavista, you can click on different areas of the site to access different interests so you don't have to type in an actual search. |

Lycos - Lycos! Go get it! I'm sure you've heard the advertising pitch Lycos uses for their television commercials. That's exactly what Lycos does... without the mess! |

Excite - I get my e-mail from Excite, so I frequently use their search engine. Basically it's the same as Yahoo!, Lycos, and Altavista. It just gives different results. |

MSN - A lot of people use MSN since it's convenient. MSN is the home page for many people who have MSN internet access, so it conveniently loads each time the Internet is started. Very similar to most of the other ones above. |

HotBot - And finally, we have HotBot! They use the same searcher as Lycos so you'll generally get the same results, but HotBot also has their own directory you can search. |
