 I was born on Dec. 26,
1970 in Milwaukee, WI. and
graduated high school in June of
1989. This is now June of 2004
and I am a single mom with two
beautiful boys. Tyler is 9 and
Travis is 4. When I was young I
was afraid of storms. As a matter
of fact, I was always the first
one to be hiding under the bed.
Even as of the year 2001, I never
liked storms. In Sept. of 2001 we
moved from WI. to TX. to be with
my parents John and Rosie. We
decided it would be cheaper to
live together again as a family.
We communicated with my brother
Jay via internet alot. He owns
Jay's Storm Spotters, Inc. We
were his eyes and ears of the
weather in Deep South Texas. At
that time I thought this storm
watching was interesting and
really got into it. I bought a
digital camera and started taking
pictures of the sky when storms
came and even caught lightening.
My texas family was getting
homesick and we decided to move
back to Wisconsin in June of
2003. Me and my Dad went to Storm
Training Spotter Classes in
Kenosha WI. in April with my
Brother Jay and his wife Becky. I
like the fact of having my own
web site. I can help keep the
people aware of the weather. If I
can help save just one life, I
feel this is all worth it. We
have now moved back to Deep South
Texas where the weather is warm.
I would just like th thank my
brother Jay for helping me get
over my fear of storms and
helping me to understand weather.
I know I have lots to learn yet
and I will keep on learning to
help keep the public safe.
