Failure Helps
Most people associate failure with sadness and bad times; most people loathe failure, but most of the time failure is a much better teacher than success. There are different degrees of failure, and many people will never reach their perception of success, but will in turn learn a lot. Failure can help you become a better person because it can teach you a plethora of things about the world. Failure also is a catalyst for success in many cases and teaches you ways to change for the better.
Failure shapes a persons personality most of the time for the better. When you succeed at everything you become overconfident, you tend to slack off and then you begin to fail. When you dont always succeed to the point that you wish you had, you learn how to push yourself and learn what your limits are. You also learn the importance of various things in life when you are in a low mental state. When you are feeling upset you begin to think about things, about the purpose of life, the meaning of success and the reasons for work. You also learn how to deal with bad times. If the reason for your despair is a failed relationship, you will learn how to deal with this in the future. You will also learn that there are many different types of people in the world, people who dont care about you or your feelings, failure or success. Though most peoples personalities change for the better through failure, some people change for the worse. There is always one person who becomes a bitter old man when faced with a lifetime of failure, a person who doesnt have the right attitude to fit in with this line of thought.
Failure, though at the time seems incorrigible, actually brings success. Failure is a catalyst for motivation. Motivation in turn brings success because that motivation is a longing to do better, to achieve higher, and to diminish defeatism. In school, when you receive a low grade on an assignment or test, your immediate response is not a pleasant one. After your initial disdain you realize that the only way to pass or bring your grades up to your personal aptitude is to begin to study more or try harder. After excessive studying you will begin to see your grades rise, concluding that failure in turn does bring success. Trepidation and sadness often accompany failure. When a person is in a depressive state, their friends, family and teachers try to pacify their mood. People want to see their loved ones succeed unconditionally. With pressure and support from your parents and friends, success is inevitable. If people dont notice your unhappiness, it is also true that failure causes people to long success and happiness and in turn makes them try to improve their lives.

Failure also helps bring success by teaching things you remember for the rest of your life. You learn ways to change for the better, which helps you not just the first time you fail, but every time from there after. One thing you might learn is not to procrastinate. If you were assigned an important paper for school and did not complete it until the last night, you learn the effects of procrastination. Chances are you did not fair as well on the paper as you could have, and are taught the important lesson of not procrastinating. Another thing you learn from failure is how to concentrate. If you do not pay attention in class you fail the course. If you are driving and not concentrating you will likely get into an accident, teaching you the importance of focusing on what you are doing. Through failure you also learn that you cannot be the best at everything. Failure helps you with a lot of things; it also helps you to learn that you cannot succeed all of the time.
Failure accomplishes more for a person than success. Success brings good things to people, and success itself is a very fortune thing. This is why people strive for it, long for it and want it so badly the can taste it. Before achieving this success they need to learn how to take criticism and how to fail.
