Rev. Hope Foster Dies; Former Poncan

The Rev. Hope Foster, a former resident of Ponca City, died Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, Wichita. He was 68.
Minister of the Free Will Baptist Church in Wichita since 1965, when he moved from Ponca City, the Rev. Mr. Foster was born Feb. 4, 1907 in Lawton.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Cochran Mortuary, Wichita, with burial at 3 p.m. in the Odd Fellows Cemetery here.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie, of the home in Wichita; 1 son, Warren Foster of Fort Worth, Tex.; 1 daughter, Mrs. Donald White of Oklahoma City; 1 brother, Walter Foster of Ponca City, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Anna Roland of Ponca City and Mrs. Juanita Brickel of Strathmore, Calif.

Walter Foster ROCKPORT - Walter "Dutch" Foster died July 29, 2000. He was 93. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Margaret Phillips of Ponca City, Okla.; and three stepchildren, James Davidson of San Antonio, Charlene Lewis of Sugar Land, and Walter Davidson of Shreveport, La.
