Elelin

You worry a bit aobut what will happen to you, but soon a strange creature comes up to you. It hops up the rock quickly, a long tail giving it balance. Soon it reaches you and calls out as it does. "You, did Etissi lead you here?" You tell him that she did, indeed, do that, before you can finish, however, he interupts you. "I thought I saw you with her, but I couldn't be certain. I'm not much good at telling humans apart." Before you can retort he continues. "They look very similar and change their colors often. I'm sorry I haven't introduced myself, I'm Elelin." This makes somewhat sense to you. He nods his head and you file downward as Elelin speaks. "You know there aren't many creatures in the canyon, I guess only the toughest can survive. You know there's a desert beyond here, but I don't know much of that."

He continues babbling as you watch your footing carefully. Soon you reach the bottom after a bit of a jump. Finally you get to take a good look at the thing that brought you down. he has snow white legs and a tail to match them. His eyes are brillant blue saphires, yet they are unlike any stone for they posess a great life. His ears are long and slightly clownish though they are probably just to cool him. His body is a brillant merigold. the cold of the dying sun. On his back there are areas of vermillion, the sky the shadows and protects the dying sun. "We're finally here," he proclaims happily. "Someone else will show you the way up. I have to go though." Without any more of a good bye he scampers off.
