We bought Brandy at the end of February 2004. Paul saw an ad in the newspaper, "paint horses for sale circumstances unknown." She had belonged to an elderly man who boarded them. When the man passed away his family never picked them up from the boarder. She was out in the pasture with 6 or 7 other horses. The man who was boarding the horses hadn't done anything with them in the two years since the elderly man passed away. Brandy had been running with a stallion so we assumed she was in foal, but had no idea when she was bred. We were very excited about having a paint baby though!!! Within a few days we had Brandy saddled and were riding her. Well, after saying she should pop any day for a couple months, Levi was finally born on September 9, 2004. Levi is totally healthy and beautiful. What a great buy!
