Silence, Soliloquy, and Requiem
Three girls: Silence, Soliloquy, and Requiem Frisby. One mother. No fathers. Some mysterious photos, a death, and visions from God.
It was an interesting enough idea that I wanted very much for it to work out--and I still do, I think. Basically, Requiem's raised by her nutjob Christian mother, Dorothea, who thinks that her daughters were given to her by God to save the world. The girls are a bit suspicious of this, especially Requiem and Silence, who found old photos of people they don't recognize captioned with odd phrases like "We've got to get back to the Garden." When Silence dies in an accident, Requiem decides that she has to know the truth about her origins.
So is she really some sort of female Jesus? I never got that far, but in case I someday do, I won't spoil it and tell you. :)
The Long Bit of Story--Wrote this for NaNo two years ago. I'm still in the middle of typing it, so it'll go up in pieces.
Shorter Bits and Pieces
Requiem Takes a Ride--Requiem and a guy in a truck have an interesting conversation. Takes place as she goes on her cross-country journey. More notes at the end of it.
