In both absolute numbers and percentage the younger riders' representation in motorcycle fatalities in the year 2000 is considerably lower than that of 1990.
On the other hand older riders' representation has been on the rise, almost tripling in the same time period.
It's easy to note that since 1997, the absolute numbers of deaths among two younger age groups, between 20 and 29 and between 30 and 39, have gone up too.
Did something happen in the area of motorcycling in 1997?
